Beatrice Ann Ptacek

Beatrice Ann (Betty) Ptacek (née Hahn), 88, of Madison, Wisconsin, died at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg, Wisconsin on June 25, 2024.

Betty was born in Oacoma, South Dakota in 1936 to Dewey and Marie Hahn. She graduated from Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota and worked as a medical technician in New York City and Milwaukee before marrying and having children. Betty spent most of her career working as a community organizer.

Betty was preceded in death by her eldest child and by her beloved husband, Louie. She is survived by four children and three grandchildren.

Per Betty’s wishes, there will be no service. The family is deeply grateful to all employees and volunteers at Agrace Hospice Care for the outstanding care Betty received in her final days.
