Betty Jane Pulsfus

LODI- Betty Jane (Paskey) Pulsfus, age 88, of Lodi, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Betty was born on February 1, 1935, in Leeds, Wisconsin. To Clarence G Paskey, Sr., and Bernice G. (Grinde) Paskey. Betty married the love of her life Ernest Edwin Pulsfus on May 14, 1955. They had one son Douglas Edwin Pulsfus. She then became a grandmother to Samantha and Savanna Pulsfus.


Betty started her career at Graber Drapery in Middleton. Betty's first retirement was at Huminston- Keeling after 25 years until they closed their doors. Her second retirement was at Traex after working there for 25 years as well. After retirement, she was able to volunteer her time at the First Lutheran Church and at the local nursing home. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She would dance the night away to any polka music. She was an active member of the First Lutheran church. Betty enjoyed being able to meet up with her classmates for a monthly luncheon. Her true pride in life was being a wife to Ernest, Mother to Douglas, and Grandmother to Samantha and Savanna. She lived her life by the motto of sharing is caring and did so with a smile and contagious laugh. Betty will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son, Douglas Pulsfus. Granddaughters Samantha Pulsfus and Savanna Pulsfus. Siblings: Donald Paskey, Gary (Diane) Paskey, Richard Paskey, Ronald (Sandy) Paskey, Carol (Duane) Ballweg, Judy Buchanan, and Wyonne Paskey(sister-in-law). Sister-in-law Shirley (Pulsfus) Stoelnburg; Brother-in-law David (Carol) Pulsfus; Many nieces and nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by her husband Ernest Pulsfus; Parents Clarence and Bernice Paskey; Brothers, Jackie in infancy, Glen, Jim, Bob, Kenneth, Clarence; Sisters-in-law, Jean and Lorraine Paskey, Lucille Paskey, Betty Paskey; brother-in-law, Gene Buchanan, Harold Stolenburg; Nephew Danny Stolenburg; Mother and Father inlaw Edwin and Dorthy Pulsfus.

Celebration of Life will be held at Waddle Inn, on Saturday, April 22nd, 1:30 PM until 4:30 PM. The inurnment will be private at County Line Cemetery, Lodi, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family for a memorial for Betty.
