Beverly Jean Denruiter

Beverly "Beve" Jean Denruiter (Kepke), age 77, passed away unexpectedly in Portage, WI on October 9th, 2023.  She was born on September 25th, 1946 in Dodgeville, WI, daughter of Clyde and Martha Kepke.  Upon graduating from West High School in 1965, Beverly received a varsity letter from her accomplishments on the bowling team.  She married John F. Denruiter in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1976.  they were married ten years, all the while raising their children and many foster children. She graduated from Madison College in 1991 with an associates degree in human services.  Throughout the years Beve worked at D.A.I.S battered women's shelter, Cub Foods and the Salvation Army shelter as an advocate for single women.  

Beve enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to different casinos with family and friends.  In recent years she grew to love camping, fishing, and watched the fire with the family.  Beverly is survived by her daughters, Erica (Steve) Denruiter, and Tracy (James) Denruiter; her grandchilden, Tiffany (Tyler), John (Alexa), Dakota (Sarah), Hunter (Crystal), Gage, Hailey, Nadelyn and Dawson; her great grandchildren Jaxson, Athena, and Nevaeh; her sister Jeri Kepke/Dunn and brother Ken (Kristin) Kepke.  Beve is preceded in death by her husband John F, Denruiter; daughters Nancy Spangler and Jacklyn Denruiter; parents, Clyde and Martha Kepke; as well as her brother John (Alberta) Kepke.

Funeral services will be held at Informed Choice Funeral and Cremation Alternatives. 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53704 on Friday, November 3rd with a visitation from 10:00am - 11:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers please make donations in the families name to Informed Choice Funeral Home.
