Christopher D. Weinberger

Christopher Weinberger passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the age 55. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Weinberger and his uncle, Mark Gohlke.

Chris is survived by his two sons, Joshua Weinberger, and Justin Niklinski (Kelsey), by his mother, Renee (Gohlke) Weinberger and his sister, Tanya Strackbein (Steven) along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chris was also a loving grandfather to Gabriel, Elliot, Charlotte, and Sawyer Niklinski.

Chris attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Over the years, he lived in Neshkoro, Redgranite, Ripon, and eventually Oshkosh, and was employed by Bemis, Amcor, and Spectrum. Chris had a gift for making people laugh. He loved nothing more than gathering with family and friends, sharing stories, and reminiscing about the old days.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Berea Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, September 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro, WI. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
