Dennis Ross Lee

Dennis Ross Lee, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  He was born May 4, 1962, the son of Merton and Marvis Lee.   Dennis graduated from Spring Green High School in 1980, after which he moved to New Glarus.  

Dennis worked for Willis and Linda Disch farming early in his career.  He then worked at Federal Industries for 30 years until retiring in 2018.   Recently, he has been working at St. Isidore Farms, in Argyle.  

On June 21, 2014, he was united in marriage to Julie Berndt (Disch).  Dennis enjoyed showing sheep for many years with his Lee Crest Suffolks Breed.  Dennis loved being in the farm life industry.  Relaxing time for him was spending time driving around with Julie on their UTV and spending time with his many friends and family.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Julie.  Julie’s 3 children; Cody Berndt, Nicole Berndt (Heath Hanson), and Lane (Martina) Berndt.  They also had 4 grandchildren; Lylah, Camdyn, and Bryant Berndt, and Deva Hanson.

Dennis is also survived by his 3 sisters; Debbie (Dennis) Jarek, Dorie (Karl) Krueger, and Diana (Brian) Wilinski, and many nieces and nephews.

He is further survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Willis and Linda Disch and his sister-in-laws and brother-in-law; Ann Reinhart (friend Gary), Tina (Lance) Bidlingmaier, Kelly (Lance) Way, and Travis (Beth) Disch, and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his family members, his is survived by his honorary family; Myles and Lori Wahl, Marlyn and Michele Wahl, Shawn and Jennifer Erickson, Darin and Stephanie Erickson, Jeff and Liz McGowan, and Dan and Shelly Hicks.

Dennis is preceded in death by his father and mother. Merton and Marvis Lee.  

A Celebration of Dennis’s Life will be held at a later date.
