Donald Lee Way

Donald Way Jr. age 72, of Mt. Vernon, WI, passed peacefully at Agrace in Fitchburg on January 3, 2024, after a battle with cancer. Don was born to Donald Way Sr. and Frances Way on April 19, 1951. 

Don served in the Navy and worked for many years at the Dane County Highway Department.  Don loved spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.  He also spent a lot of time traveling to race tracks and car shows. 

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Way, both parents, and sister Kelly (Scott) Onsager.  He is survived by his 2 children Lance (Kelly) Way and April Way; 4 grandchildren Dylan (Mariah), Cody, Dalton, and Austin; 3 great-grandchildren Fraya, Athea, and Paisley; and siblings Kim Way and Doug (Mary) Way.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
