John Joseph Forbes

John Forbes passed away peacefully on Friday September 15 2023. John was born September 11th 1944 in Madison to Catherine and Edward Forbes. John was a  graduate of Central High School, served in the US Army and retired from the City of Madison Streets Department. John loved spending time with family and friends, playing dice and rooting for his Badgers, Packers & Brewers. His quick wit, clever jokes and sweet demeanor will be sorely missed. John was our Gentle Giant. John is survived by his former wife, Carol Forbes, nieces and nephews, Lynn (Tim) Maglio, Mike (Janis) Parkinson, Missy (Dean) Currier, Karen (Gwain)Yee, Jeff (Cathy) Forbes, and Steven (Dominique) Forbes.

A private burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
