Karen Jean Burke

Karen Jean Burke, 74, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at UW Hospital in Madison after a sudden illness.
Karen was born June 16,1941 to Howard and Dorothy Love, and with her mother's passing was raised by father and step-mother, Anna Love.
Karen completed Licensed Practical Nursing School , then married Edward J. Burke and became a mother and homemaker. She also did in- home child care. She loved reading, shopping, animals, and especially enjoyed family visits and calls. She also enjoyed volunteer work with senior citizens.
She is survived by 3 daughters and a son; Terrri Hyke, Sherri (Craig) Schulthess, Dan (Pauline) Burke, Jennifer (Patrick) Jamison, her grandchildren; Aaron Hyke, Aldía Hyke, Anna Hyke, and Alex Hyke, Marisa Burke and Dalton Burke, and 3 Great-grandchildren; Drake, Allister and William Hyke.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and stepmother.

Karen is greatly loved and missed by family and friends and will be remembered forever. " I hope that your spirit soared , like the eagles you adored, to a place of peace and love."
