Kathleen (Kay) Morrow

Kathleen (Kay) Morrow, age 82, died on January 12, 2024 in Sun Prairie.  Kathleen was born in the Township of Burke to James & Christine (Seiler) Morrow, on February 10, 1941. She was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Sun Prairie, WI.

Kathleen graduated from Madison East High School and for many years following sold real estate in the Madison area.  She developed many lasting relationships and friendships.  In her later years she provided home health care.

Kathleen was a very generous and giving person to anyone in need.  She hosted several university exchange students for many years.  She loved cooking, shopping for bargains, playing cards, cribbage, gardening, beads and sewing.

Kathleen is survived by daughters, Gale Knight, Mary (Peter) Parker & son Maurice (Mac) Friedland, (Mari Crocie), Grandchildren; Kristi (Toby) Garrod, Derek (Amanda) Parker, Clayton (Jodi) Friedland, 8 great grandchildren, sister Patricia Lea, brothers; Alan (Bernadette) Morrow and Richard (Cathy) Morrow, many nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by; her parents, James & Christine (Seiler) Morrow, son Peter Friedland, grandsons Ben and Dylan Friedland, brothers Harold, Kenneth & Ivan Morrow, Infant brother and sister, Betty Neff.

Funeral services will be held at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Sun Prairie with Father William Vernon officiating on Tuesday, January 23^rd with a 10:00am visitation and Mass beginning at 11:00am.  There will be a luncheon at the church following the service.

Burial will take place at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Agrace Hospice for their warmth and care during her last few months.  It meant a lot to Kay.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Agrace Hospice Care or to a charity of your choice in Kay’s name.
