Lance Baldwin Weaver

Lance B. Weaver passed away on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013, at home in Madison after a long illness.

He was born January 16th, 1957, in Madison, the second of four children. He attended Franklin Elementary, Lincoln Junior High and Madison West High School. He worked for years as a paper carrier for Madison Newspapers. Lance was a gardener that loved flowers, plants and visiting greenhouses. Happy to be outdoors, he and Alice enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and nearby parks. A collection of movies was enjoyed together. He also loved their cat and had many feeders for the birds. An avid sports fan, his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. He played guitar and enjoyed listening to many kinds of music on his favorite radio station, WORT, 89.9 FM.

He is survived by his beloved partner Alice Waelti; sisters, Robin Weaver (Dave Stuber) and Michelle Weaver and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Weaver and parents, Jim Weaver and Merrilyn Weaver.

A celebration of Lance's life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on November 16th, 2013, at the VFW Post 1318, 133 East Lakeside Street in Madison.
