April 21, 1961 — October 30, 2022

CAMBRIDGE- Lori "Punkin" Jean Anderson of Cambridge, Wisconsin passed away in her home at the age of 61 on Sunday, October 30, 2022. After a two year long battle with lung cancer, she went to be with God in heaven, joining her parents and brothers, John and James Anderson.

Lori was born April 21, 1961 in Edgerton, Wisconsin to the late Raymond and Norma (Schenck) Anderson. She served in the Army Reserves from 1979 to 1981. She was also a dairy farmer for many years of her life. She had an immense love for animals, especially cows. To many, Lori was a free-spirited, selfless, and kind woman. She enjoyed being outside in nature with her German Shepard Rhya, and spending time with her loved ones. She was a green thumb who loved planting gardens, and decorating the yard full of knick-knacks. The love the had for her daughter was endless, and Lori relentlessly fought against cancer to be able to see her graduate from college.

Lori is survived by her only daughter, her pride and joy, Destinee Anderson (21) of Madison, as well as her boyfriend Scott Snyder, who cared for her in her last years of life. Furthermore, she is survived by her brothers Raymond (Sheryl) Anderson, Arne (Candy) Anderson, and David Anderson, as well as her sister Rosanne Anderson and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and younger brothers John and James Anderson.

A private burial service and celebration of life will be held by the family. The family gives their gratitude towards Heartland Hospice, and the nurses that cared for Lori in her final months.
