Marti passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2025. She was born on November 23,1946 to Joseph and Matilda Lashock, in Darlington, WI.

Marti attended Holy Rosary School through 8th grade. She then went onto Darlington High School graduating in 1964. She is survived by her Husband Darrel, son Curtis Salmon, daughter Carrie (Shawn) Rogge. granddaughters, Katrena (Robert) Turner and Taylor Gerke. Great Granddaughters Reina Salmon and Samantha and Sarah Turner, Great Grandsons, Micah Salmon, Owen Gerke, and Noah Ace. She is also survived by her sisters, Joanne Witt, Pauline Carpenter, Cindy (Tom) Corley, and her brother Joseph (Mary Kaye) Lashock and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marti was proceeded in death by both her parents, and brothers, Donald, Patrick and Robert.

She started her strong work ethic at UW Hospital as a cook, where she met the love of her life Darrel. They were Married October 21st, 1967. When her children were born, she started doing childcare at home. Later, she started employment at Madison Metropolitan School District in food service. She retired there after 34 years.

Marti and Darrel loved square dancing, camping, gardening, and playing cards, especially Eucher. She enjoyed baking, cake decorating, and watching the birds that would visit her feeder. She was also an avid sports enthusiast and derby lover. Most of all, Marti loved her family and spending time with them. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Agrace Hospice, especially Melissa.

A celebration of her life and luncheon will be held on November 22nd, 2025, from 12pm to 3pm at Cornerstone Church, 550 Portland Rd Waterloo, WI.
