Mary M Schneider

Mary M. (Kaiser) Schneider, age 90, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born December 26, 1924 to Glenn and Ida (Simmer) Kaiser in Lena, IL. She attended Aquin High School and worked at Micro Switch. She married James F. Schneider January 30, 1945 in Freeport, IL. They had 2 children, Kathe King (Madison, WI) and Paul (Lela) Schneider (Boise, ID). For many years she and Jim operated Schneider's Grocery in Freeport but eventually moved to Colorado where they operated a retail/resort complex. They then moved to Idaho and operated retail stores in that area. After Jim's passing in 1993 she lived with her daughter. The last few years she's resided at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Kathe and son Paul, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. With her passing she will be interred with her husband in Emmett, ID.
