Mary Elizabeth Wendland

Mary Elizabeth Wendland, 57, sadly passed away surrounded by family in her home on July 1st, 2025.

She was born on October 23rd, 1967, to Barbara and James Connors in Madison, WI at University Hospital.

Mary graduated from Madison West High School in 1985 and went on to attend Madison Area Technical College where she graduated with an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene.

She married Craig Wendland on September 29th, 1990, and they had two children, Lauren and Ryan Wendland.

She worked as a Dental Hygienist, and retired from Dental Implant and Periodontal Specialists after a long and fulfilling career.

She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed attending the sports games and achievements of her children. She enjoyed traveling and trying new things with her friends and family.

Mary is survived by husband Craig, daughter Lauren, son Ryan, siblings John and Christine, nieces, nephews, and her mother Barbara.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Connors.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11th at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Church. Address: 1905 West Beltline Hwy. with Father Drew officiating. Luncheon to follow at the same location.
