Norman Merrill Overlock

MADISON--Norman Merril Overlock, age 96, of Madison, passed away on Feb. 13, 2018, at Chamomile Assisted Living with friends and family attending. He was born on May 20, 1921, in Thomaston, Maine, the son of Joel Overlock and Goldie Overlock. Norman served in World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps (Air Force) as an airframe mechanic, meeting his future wife while on leave in Australia. He married Elizabeth Grace Pierce on June 19, 1943; she preceded him in death on Oct. 17 2003.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Overlock of Van Nuys, Calif.; daughter, Donna Hinkfus of Wentzville, Mo.; and daughter, Susan Overlock of Cottage Grove, Wis.; along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A brief memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Feb. 27, 2018, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, Wis.
