Pamela Kathryn (McKillip) Crapp, age 79, of the Towns of Dunn and Newbold, WI, passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2026. Pamela was born in Darlington, WI on August 20, 1947, to Harold and Beverly (Kammerud) McKillip.
Pamela retired from the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction after nearly 39 years of service. She most enjoyed spending time at home on The Lanai, up north on The Loonai (or in front of the fireplace!), and on adventures with cherished family and/or special friends to small town shops and events. She loved her gardens, relaxing with a book or crossword, and sipping on a coffee, an IPA, or a bourbon Old Fashioned. Her favorite travels included Ireland (3x!) and around Lake Superior, especially to Canal Park and the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth.
Pamela is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Crapp and Jason (Kim) Crapp; brother, Greg (Kathy) McKillip; nieces: Melissa (Erik) Loiselle and Katie Benson, Rebecca (Matt) Ächey and Jennifer (Mike) Wohlwend; great nieces/nephews: Sophie, Shane, John, Cassidy, Griffin, Emily, Carter, Corbin, Otto, Elin, and Wyatt; cousins: Steve (Becky) McKillip, Laurie Hannan (Ron Witte), Dennis McKillip and Kay Schulte. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Jan (Tom) Urquhart; nieces/nephews: Lynn Urquhart, Steve (Tanna) Urquhart, Kristin (Pete) Huneck and Ryan (Andrea) Urquhart; great nieces/nephews: Rhiannon, Aaron, Bree, Collin, Katelyn, Abby, Mitchell, and Nolan; numerous extended family, and her most treasured friends.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband Gary; her sister and brother-in-law Rhonda and Richard Benson; cousin Randy McKillip; her parents; her parents-in-law, William and Carol Crapp, and brother-in-law Steve Elert.
No services will be held at this time, but small gatherings may eventually occur at The Lanai and/or The Loonai on Long Lake. If you wish to honor Pamela, please donate to Agrace Hospice https://www.agrace.org/donate/donate-today/.
