Pamela Marie Westfall

October 1, 1948 — October 12, 2018

Pamela Marie (Spina) Westfall, 70, of Sun Prairie, passed away on October 12, 2018 after a courageous battle with ALS. Pamela was born in 1948, in Germany where her father was stationed during World War II. She spent her childhood in Illinois and her college years in Bayfield, where she became a Registered Nurse. Pam married Robert Westfall in 1978 and they raised their children together in Indiana and later in Southern Wisconsin. After their children had finished school, Pam moved to Sun Prairie and thrived there in her work as a case manager for seniors. She was an avid-animal lover and also enjoyed volunteering, spending time with her family, new technology, the Packers, and her favorite season- fall. Pam loved feeding her family and trying new recipes, making them her own. She was especially well-known for her delicious cheesecakes. Pam loved Jesus with all her heart and shared her faith openly. Her favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 41:10, which says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Pam is survived by her four sons and their families: Matthew & Lydia (Allison) Westfall of Madison, Mark Westfall & Renee Wachter of California, Kevin Westfall of Madison, and Kyle & Leah (Schultz) Westfall of Michigan; four grandchildren: Robert, August, Adelaide, and Rose; and two grand dogs: Cooper and Toby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Fran Spina, and older brother, James Spina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to WAGS (Wisconsin Academy for Graduate Service Dogs, wags.net/donate) or Agrace Hospice (agrace.org/donate) in Pam's name. As she requested, there will be no memorial service and her family will honor her life privately. Pam's family wishes to thank Agrace Hospice for their excellent, compassionate care.
