Sandra Louise Feierabend

June 17, 1954 — October 22, 2015

MADISON - Sandra was born on June 17, 1954 to Paul and Della Davis of West Monroe, Louisiana. Sandra passed from this life on October 22, 2015 in Madison, Wisconsin following a brief illness.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father Paul Davis and her sister Paula. Sandra loved and leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Lee Feierabend, her mother, Della Davis, and her brother, Paul Davis and her three children, Chris Spratt, Craig Spratt, and Stephanie Stevens. She also leaves behind two step children, Carl and Stephanie.
Sandra loved her children unconditionally, she also leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren; four grandsons: Dustin, Eathan, Bradley, and Christian; four granddaughters: Christina, Mackenzie, Bridgette, and Mad'ee; two step grandchildren: Gavin and Sydney; as well as two great grandsons: Bentley and Thackery; and two great granddaughters: Allison and Gabriella.
Sandra had many passions in her life, but none greater than the love for her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and loved by her family forever.

Only in the digital age can one give one one's own obituary. I passed at 14:00 10/22/2015. I want to thank all my family and friends for their prayers and support. You all know from my Facebook posts what my causes, loves, and passions are! May God give you the peace I felt these last few days. I promise not to haunt anyone! I am glad you all got to meet me!
I posted the above on Sandra's facebook page in her spirit because she has so many to share with I couldn't call everyone. Her pulmonary fibrosis reactivated and in addition to collapsing a lung ended up taking her life much quicker than we expected. She hung on till her children could come but then just ran out of strength. She always had such a cheery disposition she rarely shared how much she was suffering. I will miss her!
Her quaint goodby saying that she always gave teasingly was more true than she would ever be willing to accept! "I'm glad you got to meet me!" I have never met anyone I was gladder to meet!
She moved to Wisconsin because she loved the cold and needed the Doctors but the best benefit of the move was to spend more time with her mother-in-law. Jane died in June spending the last months of her life wondering why God was keeping her around. One reason was that her inspiration allowed Sandra to return to a loving God who could be there for you even through one's suffering ill health and pain.
She grew up hating travel because she moved schools too often but just when she started loving travel she lost the ability to do so and traveled the world on TV and Facebook. She will be missed by her worldwide friends and family. Her father Paul and sister Paula preceeded her but she left a brother Paul and mother Della. Her children Chris, Craig and Stephanie were so dear to her that she settled for excommunication from the Church she loved rather that disavow them. Thanks to the Pope's change of the Church's attitude toward divorcees receiving communion she was able to receive communion on her last Sunday. It was destined that she would end up with step children Carl and Stephanie 6 weeks younger than hers. She passionately loved children but none more than;
Her grandchildren:
(Chris') Dustin, Ethan, Bradley, Christian, and Mattie. (Stephanie's) Christina, Mackenzie, Bridgette.
And great grandchildren:
(Dustin's) Bentley and Allison. (Easton's) Gabriella. (Christina's) Thackery
And step grandchildren: Gavin and Sydney
