Thomas William Saltz

Thomas W. Saltz, 81, died Feb. 1, 2013 at Agrace Hospice, surrounded by his
family. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his son Michael, two
grandchildren, Steve and Ashley, sister-in-law Sharon, nephew Eric and niece

Alesa. He was preceded in death by his daughter Debra, parents Orval and
Vera Saltz, sister MaryAnn, and brothers Jim and Bob. Tom was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Tom proudly served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a long time employee of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation where he developed many lifelong friends. He was
instrumental in implementing the Rustic Roads program, Scenic Easements and boat landings throughout the State of Wisconsin. He was a gifted musician and photographer.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bird watching.

A memorial service will be held at Agrace Hospice, 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy, Madison on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1PM. A visitation will also be held form 12 PM to 1 PM.
